CITP® 10-Day Training

Leads the four-day virtual program end to end, from body-of-knowledge foundations through applied exercises to examination readiness.

The principal instructor is drawn from the IBACTP® authorized instructor panel and holds the credential being taught. Every session is delivered against the published body of knowledge and examination blueprint, so what is taught is what is assessed.

Sessions combine short conceptual segments with worked examples, scenario analysis and guided practice, rather than lecture alone. Candidates leave each day with something they can apply in their own environment.

Runs the hands-on portion: sandboxes, tooling walkthroughs and the practical exercises that sit behind the applied competency questions.

The technical instructor supports the applied component of the program. Where the syllabus calls for practical competence — pipelines, controls, detection logic, governance artefacts — this is the session that builds it.

Exercises are run in a sandbox so candidates can practice without touching production systems, and are reviewed live so mistakes become teaching moments.

Facilitates the manager-level material: governance, risk, board reporting and the decision frameworks assessed at management tier.

The executive facilitator leads the management-tier content. Manager-level candidates are assessed on judgment rather than recall, so these sessions are built around decision scenarios, trade-offs and defensible reasoning.

The session also covers how technology risk is communicated upward — to executives, audit committees and boards — which is examined directly at manager level.
