The availability of discretionary learning materials does not change the primary purpose of the self-paced certification payment unless expressly stated in writing.

Certificate of Training Completion

Where a separate self-paced training program includes completion requirements, eligible participants may receive a certificate of training completion.

A training-completion certificate confirms completion of the applicable learning activities. It is not an IBACTP® professional certification and does not authorize the participant to use a protected certification designation.

Certification is awarded only after the candidate satisfies the applicable professional certification requirements.

Certification and Assessment Requirements

Completing self-paced content does not automatically confer certification. Candidates must satisfy all applicable:

IBACTP® certification examinations consist of:

• 100 multiple-choice questions
• 90 minutes
• 70 percent minimum passing score

Protecting Learning Materials and Intellectual Property

IBACTP® learning materials, recorded content, practice questions, presentations, graphics, laboratory instructions, and assessment resources may be protected by copyright, trademark, licensing, confidentiality, and other intellectual-property requirements.

Enrollment provides the registered participant with limited personal access for authorized educational use. It does not transfer ownership or grant permission to reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, teach from, resell, or commercially exploit the materials.
