Respect intellectual property
Comply with applicable laws and professional obligations
Maintain appropriate professional conduct
Comply with the IBACTP® Code of Ethics and membership policies
Membership status should be maintained according to the requirements of the applicable category.
Membership Status and Renewal
Membership records may identify a status such as the following.
ACTIVE
Membership is current and maintained according to the requirements of the category.
EXPIRED
Renewal requirements have not been completed, so the membership is no longer active.
SUSPENDED
Membership rights are paused under the applicable membership policies.
WITHDRAWN
The member has chosen to end their membership.
TERMINATED
Membership has been ended under the applicable membership policies.
Renewal and how you describe your membership
Annual membership categories require renewal to maintain active membership. Members whose membership has expired should not represent themselves as currently active members until the applicable renewal requirements have been completed.
